Season 2023-2024
The Garant Sports Club, hereinafter referred to as the ” Club “, is a hobby group with the status of a sports school, the main purpose of which is to teach children to swim. If a parent, hereinafter referred to as the ” Parent “, agrees to the following points, the student, hereinafter referred to as the ” Student “, becomes a member of the Club. The Parent undertakes to comply with the following rules and conditions of membership of the Club.
These points do not apply to the direction for Toddlers up to 3.5 years (level ” B” ). General rules for toddlers see here .
1. General Provisions
- The club creates opportunities for students to acquire knowledge and skills in the field of swimming, as well as for general physical development in accordance with the school curriculum.
- The parent undertakes the responsibility to fully support the development of the student and the implementation of the routine established for the student by the Club.
- The parent undertakes to pay the membership fee in a timely manner in the amount and manner specified in paragraphs 3 and 4.
- Any damage caused to the Club or to property under the responsibility of the Club as a result of the malicious or careless behavior of a student shall be compensated by the Parent.
2. Academic work
- Training period: from September to June of the following year (inclusive) . In the last month of the season (June), the Club reserves the right to change the training schedule, due to the adjustment of the rental time directly by the lessor.
- The time and place of training correspond to the current schedule of each department ( see schedules ).
- On red days of the calendar, training is not held .
3. Membership fee
- The Club does not issue invoices.
- The membership fee is paid by the Parent independently before the 15th of the current month (i.e. payment for September must be made by September 15th).
- The membership fee is EUR XX per month**. A discount applies to the second and third child from the same family** (this condition does not apply to babies (level ” B “). (** membership fee 2023-2024 ).
- Payment can be made monthly from September to June or in one lump sum at the beginning of the season.
- For everyone who was assigned to a group (both new and continuing) before 09/01/2024 – September is subject to payment in full, regardless of the start of classes (since we do not hold places).
- This clause will not apply if after the first training session the parent notifies the Club of their unwillingness to attend the classes.
- For everyone who was assigned to a group after 09/01/2024 or not from the beginning of the month, payment for the first month is calculated proportionally to the date of the first (trial) lesson.
- The membership fee is transferred to the club’s bank account No. xxxxxxxxxxxxx (Swedbank). NB! Each branch/pool has its own account number!!!!
- Recipient’s name: MTÜ SPORDIKLUBI GARANT
- Explanation: student’s first and last name, student’s personal code, month of payment.

- For two children, the payment must be made in separate payments (i.e., for example, when paying 125€ for two children, two separate payments of 62.50€ are made).
4. Special conditions
- A child’s absence from training due to illness or other reasons does not exempt him from paying the full membership fee.
- For each child not registered by 01.12.2024 in the Sports Department, as an official representative of the GARANT club, the monthly membership fee is increased by 15 EUR from 01.01.2024 (see membership fee 2023-2024 ). This clause does not apply to:
- those who do not have Tallinn registration.
- children born in 2017 and later (2018, 2019, etc.).
- Income tax is refunded from the paid membership fee in accordance with the Income Tax Act of the Republic of Estonia. The paid membership fee is entered into the PAYER’S declaration.
- The club reserves the right to unilaterally adjust the membership fee for the next half-year. If the membership fee is adjusted, the parent is informed about it no later than two weeks before the start of the new period
5. Change and termination of membership in the Club
- Membership is terminated based on an official application from the parent via our page in the E-Forms->Termination of Membership section : http://swim.garant.ee/prekrashhenie-dogovora/ before the 20th of the current month (i.e., for example, the termination of training from January 1 must be notified no later than December 20th). In case of untimely notification, the parent is obliged to pay the membership fee for the following month.
- Retroactive terminations are not accepted.
- The club has the right to terminate membership unilaterally in the event of debt starting from 1 month, which does not relieve the obligation to pay off the entire debt.
- Termination of cooperation occurs, among other things, when Club instructions are ignored or when the student violates generally accepted norms of behavior.
